Pief Panofsky’s wife, Adele, was the person who unearthed an amazing fossil during the construction of SLAC. As an added bonus during the second part of the field trip with Pief Panofsky, she met with club members in the visitor’s center, where the fossil was on display, and described her experience excavating it.
